ArkWarden is an iPhone app for hiding private photos, videos, documents and audio. Each file is encrypted on your iPhone with AES-256-GCM, and the vault opens only with a pattern you draw, together with a key stored in your iPhone's Secure Enclave.

Capture photos and videos inside the app so they never reach your camera roll. Create unlimited folders and import files directly into the folder you want.

For extra security, you can turn on Face ID, Touch ID, a 6-digit PIN or a YubiKey as two-factor authentication (2FA) after the pattern. An optional second pattern opens a separate vault with different files.

You do not need an account, and ArkWarden has no access to your files. Backup is optional. If you turn it on, your vault is encrypted on your iPhone before it is saved to your iCloud or to a file. If you forget your pattern, a recovery phrase lets you back in.

The encryption is open source.
